Jet boat racing is fun.  Its narrow, shallow squiggly river race where they use jet (impeller drive) boats that do 130+ mph.  Sometimes they are Jet powered Jet boats.  Its like 1000 hp rally racing on water.

Cool! I’ll have to find some time to watch it.

If you want to try a little jet boat racing of your own, all you need is a suitable stream and a much smaller budget. I have no idea why this ended up in my feed, but I’ll admit that I watched the whole thing a few months ago.

Friend of mine from college was course doctor on that event. Medical staff follow along in a jet boat at race speed, because there’s places a chopper couldn’ t land if there was a crash. Apparently it’s a s hit load of fun...
